Current Project: Holyday Inn Room Renovations
First opened by monks in 1859 the Holyday Inn is the oldest working hotel in Louisiana… well it’s not really that old, nor was it opened by monks, but our little private hotel has been a big part of Camp life for a number of years. It houses many of our weekend guests for retreats, board meetings, other private events, our Camp Staff members and their families, along with weary travelers (aka parents) dropping their kids off for summer camp.
We need your help to raise funds for this very special project, as we work on renovating the guest rooms one by one with new furniture, linens, fixtures, a fresh coat of paint, and much more. Each room costs about $4,000 and we have completed 13 of the 21 rooms so far.
Please donate what you can to help us see this project through. If an individual, club, congregation, or other group would be so generous as to cover the cost of an entire room, we could gladly name the room in your honor and might even let you help decorate!
