Camp Hardtner's Alpine Tower!
The tower provides many activities and opportunities for confidence building and establishing team work. Programs lasting only a few hours to several days long can be provided. Programs are developed for various levels of ability and experience. Eventually programs allowing universal accessibility will be provided for the physically challenged.

ALPINE TOWER FACILITATOR TRAINING

A training course for facilitators on Hardtner’s Alpine Tower was held May 15-17. The training was conducted by Lisa Carter from Alpine Towers Sessions. The training is mandatory to be certified as a Course facilitator. Individuals interested in becoming certified should contact Executive Director Patrick Higgins through e-mail or at the Camp office.

The Alpine Tower Challenge Course is designed to build self confidence and teamwork. This tower is the only one of its type in Louisiana but they are used throughout the country at camps, conference centers and colleges including the Air Force Academy. Groups can schedule use of the Tower through the Camp office.
