Senior Camp 2009We in our 62nd year!

Our Camp and Conference Center offers a serene, woodland setting for people to learn about themselves, enjoy outdoor activities, build friendships and develop new, lasting relationships with peers and God.

Whether you are looking for a summer camp for your child, a pleasant weekend get-away for your family or a meeting place for your business, Camp Hardtner is the place!

Road Construction!ACA Accredidation by the American Camp Association is based on a visit and evaluation done during the 2009 summer. The accreditation process includes categories such as Site & Food Service, Transportation, Health & Wellness, Operational Management, Program Design, Program Activities, and Human Resources. The process is a voluntary program designed to help assure safe, quality and fun camping programs nationwide. The 2009 Camp Hardtner summer camping program provided camp experiences to over 450 young people from throughout Louisiana and beyond. The summer camping program is a joint effort of the Episcopal dioceses of Western Louisiana and Louisiana.

HeartHardtner Camp & Conference Center is a non-profit organization of the Episcopal Diocese of Western Louisiana that reflects our ministry of service. We seek to provide an atmosphere that promotes both personal and spiritual growth and renewal for all our guests.

In support of this, we will:

Provide a safe, enjoyable outdoor learning experience

Provide opportunities to develop leadership, social and group living skills while fostering creativity, independence and responsibility
Offer a choice of age-appropriate programs that build confidence and self- esteem
Encourage individual expressions of abilities, attitudes and faith
Provide opportunities for regular participation in
worship, music, sports, drama, group discussions and other enriching activities

Build an appreciation and acceptance of the difference in people

HeartCareful observance of standards for safety and health, programming quality, staff training, supervision and administration contribute to a camper-centered environment.

HeartHardtner Camp & Conference Center is licensed by and mandated to comply with regulations of the Louisiana Department of Public Health.
